Before you cancel: pay less
Documented option
Check official Young Adult/Student or Prime Access eligibility; compare annual only if use is stable.
Eligibility must be genuine; Prime Channels and other Amazon memberships remain separate.
What they don't tell you
- A pause and retention screens can appear before the final action. Ending Prime does not automatically end separately billed Prime Video Channels, Audible, Amazon Music Unlimited, Kindle, or other memberships.
Check the biller first
Amazon direct; some Prime memberships started through the Android shopping app use Google subscriptions. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
