How to cancel Apple Music

What happens after cancellation
Access ends when the subscription expires. Apple Music catalog tracks and playlists dependent on the catalog stop being available; music owned before subscribing remains.

Compare Individual, Student, Family, and Apple One only when eligibility and the combined services fit.
Changing a plan can affect family members and other Apple services.
Offer may appear
No cancellation discount. If an offer appears, compare its cadence, end date, and full renewal price. Never assume an account-specific offer is guaranteed.
What they don't tell you
- Android users billed through Google Play must cancel in Apple Music on Android or Google Play. Cancellation and refund requests are separate.
If you subscribed through Apple
Apple Music cannot cancel a subscription that Apple bills. On your iPhone open
Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Apple Music and cancel there.
Check the receipt: if it came from Apple, that is your route.
Check the biller first
Apple; Google Play for some Android purchases. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
