How to cancel Coursera
Cancel Coursera through the biller-specific route below. Save the final end date or written confirmation before you leave. Open the official Coursera route.

What happens after cancellation
Cancellation stops future billing at the end of the current period. Annual plans have a documented 14-day refund window; Specialization subscriptions use the applicable seven-day window or certificate boundary. Refund requests are separate.

Before you cancel: pay less
Documented option
Use the applicable refund window for a new annual or product subscription; otherwise cancel the exact product.
Coursera Plus, Specializations, stores, and sponsored programs use different rules.
What they don't tell you
- Earning a full Specialization certificate can auto-cancel a direct Specialization subscription, but Apple-billed subscriptions still require manual cancellation. Coursera Plus, Specializations, and partner programs can have different terms.
If you subscribed through Apple
Coursera cannot cancel a subscription that Apple bills. On your iPhone open
Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Coursera and cancel there.
Check the receipt: if it came from Apple, that is your route.
Check the biller first
Coursera direct; Apple; Google Play; employer/university programs. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
