What happens after cancellation
Individual accounts become Dropbox Basic at the end of the current billing cycle and are not charged again.

Before you cancel: pay less
Documented option
Downgrade to a smaller plan or Basic after bringing storage and device usage within its limits.
Sync and feature limits take effect after the paid term.
What they don't tell you
- No cancel button can mean the subscription was purchased on mobile. Dropbox Basic has 2 GB; while over quota, sync/upload/share/move/preview can stop, and Dropbox documents that it may delete owned files to reduce prolonged overage. Team and Family plans use different flows.
If you subscribed through Apple
Dropbox cannot cancel a subscription that Apple bills. On your iPhone open
Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Dropbox and cancel there.
Check the receipt: if it came from Apple, that is your route.
Check the biller first
Direct; Apple; Google Play; team/enterprise contract. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
