Cancellation guide
How to cancel Super Duolingo
We found an official starting point for Super Duolingo, but the current cancellation labels still need a live check. Confirm who bills you before following the route. Open the official Super Duolingo route.
Safe starting checklist
- Check the latest receipt or account page to confirm who bills you.
- Open the official Super Duolingo account or support entry point.
- Confirm the final end date or request written support confirmation.
What happens after cancellation
Renewal stops and paid access normally remains through the current term; the purchase platform controls refunds.
How to know it worked
The original platform shows an expiry date rather than a renewal date.
Before you cancel: pay less
Documented option
Cancel to the free tier; compare Family only when a real household/group will use it.
The purchase platform owns changes and refunds.
What they don't tell you
- Most missing cancel buttons are a billing-platform or wrong-account problem. Deleting the app does not cancel. Family-plan cancellation belongs to the plan manager.
If you subscribed through Apple
Super Duolingo cannot cancel a subscription that Apple bills. On your iPhone open
Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Super Duolingo and cancel there.
Check the receipt: if it came from Apple, that is your route.
Check the biller first
Duolingo web; Apple; Google Play. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
