How to cancel Evernote
Cancel Evernote through the biller-specific route below. Save the final end date or written confirmation before you leave.

What happens after cancellation
The plan remains active through the current cycle, then becomes Evernote Free; existing notes and notebooks remain, subject to Free-plan creation/device limits.
How to know it worked
Email plus a Restore button in Billing History indicates renewal is off.
Before you cancel: pay less
Documented option
Downgrade to Free and reduce devices/usage to fit its limits.
Billing-system variants and stores expose different controls.
Offer may appear
No stable retention offer found. If an offer appears, compare its cadence, end date, and full renewal price. Never assume an account-specific offer is guaranteed.
What they don't tell you
- Some flows require disconnecting devices until one remains. A missing Billing/cancel option can reflect a legacy system or provider. Apple, Google, PayPal, and Teams have distinct routes.
If you subscribed through Apple
Evernote cannot cancel a subscription that Apple bills. On your iPhone open
Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Evernote and cancel there.
Check the receipt: if it came from Apple, that is your route.
Check the biller first
Direct card/SEPA; PayPal; Apple; Google Play; Teams. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
