What happens after cancellation
Future automatic billing stops and service remains through the current cycle. Store purchases must be canceled at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.

Documented option

Store purchases follow store refund rules and cancellation is separate from a refund.
What they don't tell you
- Cancellation is not available inside the ExpressVPN app. Apple/Google own their subscriptions. Add-ons and tier features should be reviewed separately.
If you subscribed through Apple
ExpressVPN cannot cancel a subscription that Apple bills. On your iPhone open
Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose ExpressVPN and cancel there.
Check the receipt: if it came from Apple, that is your route.
Check the biller first
ExpressVPN direct; Apple; Google Play; some non-renewing legacy payment methods. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
