How to cancel Max
Cancel Max through the biller-specific route below. Save the final end date or written confirmation before you leave.
Step by step
- For Max-billed plans, open the subscription page
- cancel the subscription
- follow prompts to final confirmation. For any named provider, use that provider's route.
What happens after cancellation
Cancel before the next billing date to avoid another charge; deleting the app does not cancel.

Before you cancel: pay less
Documented option
Change to an available lower tier or qualifying bundle after identifying the biller.
A bundle can create duplicate subscriptions unless the original purchase is managed separately.
Offer may appear
No guaranteed cancel-flow discount. If an offer appears, compare its cadence, end date, and full renewal price. Never assume an account-specific offer is guaranteed.
What they don't tell you
- The biller field is authoritative. A provider can expose Max access while Max itself has no cancel button.
Check the biller first
Direct plus Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, cable, mobile, and many local providers. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
