How to cancel Medium

What happens after cancellation
Benefits remain through the end of the billing cycle; paid fees are generally nonrefundable under the membership terms.

Before you cancel: pay less
Documented option
Cancel to the free account and resubscribe only when the paid features are useful.
Apple/Google billing must be stopped separately.
What they don't tell you
- If the cancel option is missing, the user may be signed into the wrong Medium account. Deleting the account or app does not cancel Apple/Google billing.
If you subscribed through Apple
Medium cannot cancel a subscription that Apple bills. On your iPhone open
Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Medium and cancel there.
Check the receipt: if it came from Apple, that is your route.
Check the biller first
Direct credit card/PayPal; Apple; Google Play. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
