What happens after cancellation
Auto-renewal turns off while service remains active to the end of the paid period. Direct auto-renewing purchases can qualify for the 30-day money-back guarantee, but the user must separately request a refund from support.

Separately request the documented 30-day money-back guarantee for an eligible direct purchase.
App stores and bundled Nord products have separate renewal/refund ownership.
What they don't tell you
- The same Nord account can contain NordVPN, NordPass, NordLocker, Dedicated IP, and bundle renewals; inspect each. Apple controls Apple refunds.
If you subscribed through Apple
NordVPN cannot cancel a subscription that Apple bills. On your iPhone open
Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose NordVPN and cancel there.
Check the receipt: if it came from Apple, that is your route.
Check the biller first
Nord direct; Apple; Google Play; Amazon Appstore. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
