- Subscription
- Cancel Subscription beside PlayStation Plus.
What happens after cancellation
Benefits continue to the end of the paid period. After expiry, online multiplayer, cloud storage, and redeemed monthly-game access stop; avatars and discounted purchases remain.
How to know it worked
Account Management shows the end date and allows reactivation before it.
Before you cancel: pay less
Documented option
Turn off renewal and select a lower tier only when Account Management offers a suitable change.
Lost benefits and catalog access can outweigh a tier saving; refund policy is separate.
What they don't tell you
- Cancellation stops future payments but does not delete the PlayStation account. A refund request follows the separate PlayStation Store cancellation policy.
Check the biller first
PlayStation account. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
