Cancellation guide

How to cancel SiriusXM

Cancel SiriusXM through the biller-specific route below. Save the final end date or written confirmation before you leave. Open the official SiriusXM route.

Genuinely hard Hard because multiple subscriptions, provider ownership, and assisted retention can overlap. Source checked 2026-08-12

Step by step

  1. Online Account Center
  2. Subscriptions
  3. select each service
  4. cancel; official alternatives are online chat or 1-888-635-8641 for direct-billed US service.

What happens after cancellation

Plan-specific timing and refund terms apply. External-service subscriptions must be canceled with that service.

How to know it worked

Written chat/phone confirmation and each subscription's displayed end date.

Before you cancel: pay less

Documented option

Ask chat/phone for the lowest package that meets actual listening needs and evaluate any displayed retention terms.

No amount is guaranteed; taxes/fees, channel lineup, term, and full-price renewal must be recorded.

Offer may appear

Discounts are frequently reported, but current availability and packages vary. If an offer appears, compare its cadence, end date, and full renewal price. Never assume an account-specific offer is guaranteed.

What they don't tell you

If you subscribed through Apple

SiriusXM cannot cancel a subscription that Apple bills. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose SiriusXM and cancel there. Check the receipt: if it came from Apple, that is your route.

Check the biller first

SiriusXM direct; Apple; Google; Roku; T-Mobile; vehicle/other external services. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
