What happens after cancellation
Premium continues until the next billing date, then the account changes to Spotify Free. A zero-priced free trial changes to Free immediately when canceled.

Change plan; eligible former subscribers may later receive a re-engagement offer.
Record the end date and post-offer renewal; a zero-price trial ends immediately when canceled.
Offer may appear
Win-back offers exist but exclude current Premium accounts and are limited. If an offer appears, compare its cadence, end date, and full renewal price. Never assume an account-specific offer is guaranteed.
What they don't tell you
- A Family or Duo member leaving does not cancel the manager's plan. If the account already says Spotify Free but charges continue, another Spotify account probably owns the plan.
Check the biller first
Direct; mobile/internet provider and other partner plans. Use the payment contact shown in the account when no cancel option exists. If Apple, Google Play, Amazon, PayPal, a carrier, or another partner appears on the receipt, cancel with that provider instead of using the merchant's direct route.
